Goodbye Seattle

[Updated 11/25/2004]

I have been meaning to add some text to this post for some time, now, but the move and new job has left me with little time. So on this day of Thanksgiving, I would like to say a big "Thank You" to all of our wonderful friends in Seattle. You have all given so much of yourselves from when we first arrived to our final departure. The memories of "Craft Night" at the Achesons, JB's 40th birthday party poker night, Husky game with Pat, long hours of coding and playing basketball with Thomas, Rosary nights at the Hatches, the many adventures with Gary (life with Gary is an adventure!), sidewalk counseling with Maureen and Ed, dinners with the Burslems, the two Camp Cushman weekends, and many, many more memories come flooding back as I sit to write this.

And how can we forget the support you have been to us and our growing family. You all helped us through at least 4 moves in our short time in Seattle. And the twins! How could we have done it without you!!! The last two years have been very long and challenging and it is only because of you that we aren't in the looney farm!

So, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. We just can't thank you enough.

We already miss you all and can't wait until we return after Christmas to catch our flight to Texas. We hope to see some of you then.

We would also like to extend an open invitation to all of you to come and visit us in Idaho. For those of you brave enough to tackle the snowy winter drive, there is some great skiing out here, otherwise there is always the beautiful spring and glorious summer. Come in August and we'll go tubing down the mighty Clearwater or will take you to the local county fair (not quite like the Puyallup, but its free!). Come anytime, there is always something to do ... Grandpa will make sure of that! :)

Again, we miss you, thank you, come and visit, and good bye for now.
